Enchanted Garden: My Husband’s Hobby Brings Joy to Us All!
Underwater gardening with fish friends and Moo Cat!
When my husband was a boy, he went to Singapore with his family to visit his paternal grandparents. While there, his Yeh Yeh took him outside to see his water garden.
Chris remembers the pond being square. There was a raised tile bench around the outside to sit on. Looking over the edge, he could see it was filled with beautiful goldfish. There were also large pots in the pond with lilies and other water plants.
He loved his Grandfather’s fish.
When we married and had our first place together, Chris decided to start a fish tank. Pretty soon, we had two. Then three… He found it very therapeutic. The underwater gardening made him feel calm and happy.
We loved the ‘mini-fish’ tank so thick with plants, plus loads of fish, shrimp and snails!
But our favourite is the goldfish.
