Recently, a young woman, I’ll call her Mei Ling, asked if I might connect with her beloved Grandfather. His sudden passing was unexpected. She wondered if he could help her understand what had happened. Did he send her a message in a dream she’d recently had? How was he doing now that he had transitioned to spirit? Her Grandfather shared a loving message to answer her questions, then added important truths to show exactly who he was.
As one example, Grandfather told me that Mei Ling would find a dragon among his possessions that he wanted her to have. In asking, Mei Ling discovered her Mother had a silver dragon coin tucked away, which Mei Ling’s Grandfather had asked be given for Mei Ling as a reminder of his great affection for her.
Grandfather asked me to remind his Granddaughter of ‘The cricket in a cage’. Mei Ling explained that she recalled making a cricket cage with her Grandfather as a little girl and that he kept it on his mantle.
